AHHHH!! Don't remind me. How does 4+ months of planning turn into 4 weeks of scrambling for me every year.

suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.

My anxiety regarding my lack of preparation for SELEM is manifesting itself in my sleep now. Last night's dreams involved zombies. No, none of them looked like any PL members . . well perhaps a little like we look on the morning of day four without adequate rest. 😂

I wouldn't be ready if I had 4 YEARS and two weeks... I'm never ready for SELEM!

Then again, that's what makes it so cool - I've always got more things to do than I have time for, but after I get back from SELEM I have even MORE projects that I want to take on. (And some of them I actually do finish, like the first-person video system on my new quad-copter, which is now working beautifully, for example!)

But yeah, no one is ever truly "ready" for SELEM... It's just the way of things. Doesn't mean that the event will be any less awesome though!

    See you all next month...

I must be the oddball since I never really have "projects" to get done before SELEM. I just bring all of it TO SELEM and hand it to DZ with a puzzled look on my face and say, "uh.... can it be fixed??".
    .
My only stress is usually trying to figure out how to get everything to fit in the van and tying up all the loose ends at work. This year should be MUCH easier since I have a full quiet day to stage stuff near the loading dock door and I got a larger vehicle.

Swami is on the list! Also, Newlin has also registered. Not sure why he wasn't listed, but he's on the spreadsheet...
