Maybe it's an individual thing. Right this moment I'm wearing a black t-shirt with a full iron on design from 2006! Yes, 10 years ago. The iron on has faded, but the t-shirt itself is totally wearable. Even in public. I have lots of t-shirts from events and conferences that have lasted a long time. I think the factor is having high quality cotton. I also have lots of t-shirts that I never wear because the material is so thin and uncomfortable.
Maybe at SELEM 20 I will bring my mint condition SELEM 10 polo and we can all admire it.
I agree that the T-shirt will fade and not last as long but at the same time I would wear it once a week for 5 years before retiring it.
If you look at last year the same statements were made. Some people want T-shirts some want polos. At the end of the day i am not putting any effort into making t-shirts and the guy who is likes polos. So we have polos. Completely understandable. I will take my polo and hang it next to the others.

suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.
