I didn't either. Does the online reader use the limited kindle format version though?

    Awesome. Thank you

Bill's book is actually worth buying from a projector builder's standpoint. It neatly bridges the empty gap between what you'd find on the web/in data sheets about Galvos and the point where you would have to start reading highly technical engineering papers or dig into some really old literature. Not too technical, the explanations are crisp, supported with good illustration, and the math is kept to the absolute minimum. While It does cover Galvo wiring, I would have added a chapter on sizing and selecting power supplies for Galvo amplifiers.

It nicely bridges the gap between data sheets and then having to purchase an expensive book like "Laser Beam Scanning Edition One", edited by Marshall...

Just bought the Kindle version, thanks Bill!

I'm kinda new to the world of lasers (2+ years or so), and I'm building a projector now out of a Laserworld case I like. Over the last 2 years, I feel like I now understand pretty well the diode, driver, mirrors and dichro parts of projectors, but the scanners have sort of been a "black box" so far. Looking forward to jumping into your book to shed some light on this part of it.

    Thanks for the feedback guys!

Already the book is 342 pages. I don't want it to get *much* bigger (or it won't fit nicely in your hands), but I too see some room for improvement and where additional clarification would be helpful. This should be possible without too many more pages.
