Default Anyone interested in these components?

    Hi, all!

I'm a volunteer in the Test & Repair area of a Habitat for Humanity ReStore near Charlotte, NC, where we check incoming donations to see if they're salable before they go out onto the sales floor in order to subsidize our house-building projects for the disadvantaged. We were given a laser projection system (probably without ALL the parts, but I'm not qualified to say), and I wanted to post some photos to see if anyone has ANY interest in acquiring ANY of the components (ideally the whole schlemiel, of course!).

I've uploaded eight files, named as best I could.

Please contact me if I can answer any questions or post any more photos.

    Best regards,
    Dave

Wrong side of pond for me
If you explore what is on the other end of the woven cable sheath in pic 5 ...you might find a dinky little air cooled argon ion laser which might well interest a few people here!
Best of luck with this ....seems like a good cause

    Cheers

I've done two habitat projects when I was younger. I live in Charlotte. I wouldn't mind coming to take a look at what you have to see if I can get it to fire up and function. It doesn't look like anything i would want but I don't mind helping. I will PM you my number

In "Back of system control panel" there are three cables tagged red, green, and blue. Just inboard is a box with "RF output" on it.
That is possibly a three channel acousto-optic modulator for controlling the beam brightnesses.
If you have the boxes that go on the other ends of the cables, that's a nice set.
I may be interested if the price is affordable.

There are 3 single colored AOM's in the projector. The unit will be making its way to SELEM. First to see if someone wants to buy the unit as a whole. And then to see if most of the parts can be called for if parting it out.

I put pictures of the inside on this thread

To expand on what George said - this will be in the Buy-Sell-Trade area backstage (behind the main curtain) for people to look at. (Along with all the other goodies that people bring.)

Thanks! I should have known that, but work has been frying my brain lately (defective thermal sensory activation machine).
