When I got the dongles/laserDac there was no installer for the driver and was given the instructions below. However, that was about a month ago and was told at the time that the installer would be ready in a couple of days. But, the following did work fine for me.
For now, download this http://zadig.akeo.ie/
1. Connect laserdock
2. Open zadig
3. Choose Laserdock Interface 0
4. Choose libusbK as driver
5. Click install.
6. Repeat 3-5 for interface 1 and 2
EDIT: I just noticed someone posted the same a few posts up but I will leave this here anyway since most people go to the bottom of the thread first.![]()
The best way to communicate with Wicked Lasers right now is on /r/laserdock on Reddit. They are on there every night and that is where the new software is being distributed.
They are on version .8.5 right now.
Problem with Wicked comms resolved ......... direct contact with Steve now established many thanks !
@ Grix ..... started via Reddit and now receiving emails direct, ...many thanks !
@ Carlos .... My Wicked stuff still hasn't arrived yet, but Grix's Reddit link should be able to supply answers to most of your questions.
Looks like my grandson is going to pretty chuffed with what Father C brings him this year.

suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.
I ordered the Dongle 5pm Thursday - 10/13 and received today Wednesday 10/19/16 in Austin, Texas. I Love this thing!
Been playing music on my laptop and displaying on the ceiling and I am Amazed with the quality and quantity of the animations.
Tried with Maxwell and LaserGen...software immediately recognized LaserDock as a choice and good to go! Paid $99 plus $25 flat rate shipping for total of $124. You can see youtube videos with better quality than my camera: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dl7tyF71zHA
This is for an earlier version...but you can see animations...And since animations in Software...may be updates with more and better features to come! (looking for text input and a little better animation selection control myself).
Came with a usb extender to micro usb adapter so you can use your own usb cable.
But I am Most Pleased by this new addition to my trunk of toys!![]()
