Default 15W Desktop Lamp Pumped Z-Fold YAG Laser

    Evening all,
I just thought I'd share this evening's fiddling with a tiny(!) lamp pumped YAG.
No names mentioned for obvious reasons - let's keep it that way

It does about 15W out of the fibre (a friend sent me the right type of fibre I needed to get this running, so I'm eternally grateful for that).

It looks a similar lamp to the "normal" units.
One interesting thing: it doesn't have a KTP TEC's... just resistive heater elements instead.

The whole unit is really compact and about the size of most medium sized laser projectors.
A built in heat exchanger + water reservoir is tucked in there too!

Posting for anyone who might find it interesting. Please let me know if it is for you.

Not the reason for posting, but it is available to buy if anyone wants to play with it.

    All the best,
    Dan

Will you take payment in the form of organs/limbs? If so - which ones?

    Neat little YAG!

Was that the one I spotted back in February? Looks like a really neat unit
