If you included a thermostat or two, and/or even TEC assisted cooling to ensure long life of diodes, (without raising the price too much), you may well be on to a winner with this, as excess blue is avoided and colour balance is quite good.

However you may have to offer 506 scanners as an "extra" with a big price tag.
