    Default Best colour balance?

    Hi.
    I am looking at Lightspace's RGB 2700 or Ministar's 3.0 pro.
Both have 4mm diameter, 1 Mrad and 30k scanners but which will have the best colour balance?
It looks to me like the Ministar will need the blue turning down so will end up with less power than the smaller Lightspace.
    What are your thoughts?

    Ministar: 3.0
    R600mW 637nm
    G700mW 520nm
    B1700mW 450nm

    Lightspace: 2.7
    R700mW 637 nm
    G800mW 520 nm
    B1200mW 462 nm

Actually 40k scanner on the Ministar and it's a few hundred quid cheaper.

it looks like they're probably probably a little low on red. i like the color gamut with 450nm diodes better than with 462.

i would ask for photos of the projected image from both projectors to make sure all the color sources have the size beam width and specs as chinese vendors are often a little.. optimistic about their specs.

also, where are you located? there are US legal lightspace lasers available, but i'm fairly confident ministar lasers are not.
suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.

Don't know about Ministar but i have not read much bad about Lightspace, They seem pretty honest.
Another option is the Tarm two but that is a bit too far above my price range.
I'm in Portugal. Nothing is ilegal here. ;-)

lightspace is pretty good quality. however, i've found the diode modulation to be a little lacking. probably fine for beams, but when doing subtle fades and color cycles for abstracts and graphics, it's not as good as i would like. i don't have any experience with ministar.

+1 to what swami said, I will be replacing the diode drivers this next week in my Lightspace projector.
