These glasses are perfectly fine for me. Didn't have any issues at all. You can't really get anything better at this range price, but that is just my opinion.

I buy from techood on eBay. He has both OD3 and OD4 glasses. I sacrificed few by shining a 3 watt red, green or blue beam through them and measuring the laser output on the other side. It will take very long to melt through them and you will definitely notice the smoke in front of your eyes, so if it works in these most extreme situations you should be fine with them.

I've always subscribed to the "don't look into the beam" theory of safety.
    And being really bloody careful.
Safety glasses feel like they make you a bit less careful, as well as having to use higher powers to see properly.
Only safety goggles I have are IR for when aligning 532 modules with the lid off.
And I've been very lucky so far with my good eye...

You are using Bonetti's defense against me, ah?

I thought it fitting, considering the rocky terrain.

    yes.

"the myth of the killer ape is true"
suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.
