LaserBoy can export ILDA frames as bitmap files (BMP) of whatever size you want.

I've tried LaserBoy, it exports to multiple .bmp files. Not exactly what i'm looking for. I'm looking for a program that convert .ild to .gif (animated)

If you have a graphics program that can import BMP files and put them together into an animated gif, you're in business.

Find some one with a Pangolin system and have them export the animation for you?

Found this app on SourceForge- a bit of pain to use, but I did get it to work when I put *.bmp in the File Name parameter. You have to select an individual delay parameter for each frame- the default is 1 sec. Too bad you can't choose delay value for a group of frames in one step.

There's also a bunch of programs that lets you record parts of your screen to a gif, like sharex. Then you can just play the file in any ild viewer and record it that way. Maybe won't be frame perfect like explicitly converting it, but it would surely be the easiest way.
