what brad is referring to is the 6 months i waited for my electronic variance submission to be processed vs. the 10 days it took for my paper variance submission to be processed and approved.

Some manufacturers will help you get your variance and I think most charge for that service. It can be well worth it to ensure it’s all filled out correctly but, yes you can do it yourself.
