    Sure!

    Short version:

    Long Version (grab a beer):

If you're interested in the minutia, buy Bill's scanner book (99 cents digital version!)

As for future plans, once I figure out ways to bend the laws of physics at the Pangolin Facility (I do this regularly at my other job...), I'm looking forward to making them go even faster!

Will have to watch that longer video when I have more time. Always important to understand the technology your using.
    Also interested in that book.

By the way, what are "Extreme Ballistic Jumps?"

    -Thanks!

A derailed thread is a good thread.

    Also,
Can someone explain why even Kvant lasers are so blue shifted? I never really thought about, but it would seem like such a petty problem should not plague such a high equipment . Also, why is the clubmax 3,000 WITHOUT the Fb4 an additional $1,000 when the only differences appear to be one more red diode and a slightly more expensive green diode. The same differences are present between the clubmax 1,000 and 2,000, yet they are fairly priced. Is the 3,000 just more widely adopted?

    -Thanks

    Final Decision time!

As of now, I'm split between the Clubmax 3000 and 3400.

I want the extra red for a warmer white but have heard that the divergence is higher due to the two additional red diodes, and am concerned this will effect the ease and quality of beam alignment in addition to the sharpness of graphics.

    Any thoughts?

I would choose the Clubmax 3400 for color balance. I own 2 and they are flawless.
Get it with the built in FB4, and upgraded scanners and you’ll have a solid solution either graphics or beam show with a 2 year warranty and good resale value

Okay, that was also my line of thought at the moment. Have you ever aligned the beams? How difficult was it? Do the colors overlay well?
Also, the alignment mechanism is on the side of the module, and can only be accessed by removing the top, Correct?

Get it with the built in FB4/QUOTE]

Does the FB4 actually improve the quality of the laser output? I sont even have an ethernet port on my computer and don't feel I would ever use the advanced networking or storage features anyways.
