"There are painters who transform the sun into a yellow spot, but there are others who, with the help of their art and their intelligence, transform a yellow spot into the sun." Pablo Picasso

I bought their sample kit several years ago with about 50 pieces of architectural glass and there were a number of good pieces that were in that kit. I got a sheet of the Spectrum Clear Granite, as well as 5 lbs of the random pieces thanks to you reminding me about them.

Yeah, that sample kit was great.
"Help, help, I'm being repressed!"
A few of the random pieces that arrived today are *really* nice. Maybe even nicer than the granite.I got some amazing yellows and oranges holding them in front on an old Kvant Spectrum a little while ago. The lumia juices are flowing again.

suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.
Dewdrop, Crysice, Flora and Rooco, if they are still in the assortment, are good ones.
I almost have standing wave acoustic lumia working. ..... For fun tried I tried paramagnetic liquids. Hard to control. They were tossing a huge magnet so I got a chance to try is out. Sure not portable.
Vibrating water works but the loss is high. Mercury would work but yea not in my house. Maybe gallium? (Hey stupid try glass chunks...) Yes I like the exotic its all for fun till someone gets poisoned.
Really though I do think this standing wave stuff might be interesting with other objects to add variety.
Has anyone tried a distressed transmission grating for lumia or feeding lumia with double slit? I see the interference lines in laserists example and it got me to thinking.
