    Default Gas Lovers' Pointers

Here is a set of old laser pointers that'll warm the heart of any gas laser enthusiast. Two versions of the same model, they are both 1988 Laseronix, Inc. model LR10 He-Ne pointers with a case design that shows off the plasma tube inside. Dubbed the "Laseron", they both have inputs for inputs for power supplies and no battery access.

The first one was made in August and is 7.5" long. The second one was made in December and is an inch shorter. Their serial numbers are 81 digits apart. About 20 per month. Anyway, I hope they made a profit on these. They obviously loved gas lasers, and they aren't alone.

I think this is the first time I've ever been excited about a pointer, these are awesome! I might have to watch for some small HeNe tubes to show up and build an updated version - I bet you could run the tube on a small Li-ion and a modified laptop CCFL backlight inverter to get a nice compact unit.
