Default Kvant 2.1w Spectrum - Kvant Customised - demo hours only

2.1W Kvant SPECTRUM with Kvant Customisation - demo hours only, probably less than 10 hours. Used for software testing only.

Unique Kvant customisations including Hardware Colour Correction Board producing razor sharp edges.

Has usual Spectrum features eg heavy weight thick Alu casing designed for touring, Thor Lab Dichros, heavy weight aluminium flight case that are now only available on the 20W+ range of lasers.

Contact me via PM for full details.

    2,100.

Koen. Sorry for the delay, been at work.

Pictures - you can see from the condition of both laser and flight case, that this has never left the house!

Some Beam Pics - apologies for low quality - only have a GoPro Hero 2 which has both a hate for low light and high contrast, and also has a fish eye lens that distorts the picture.

One thing I would point out though, is the razor sharp colour boundaries courtesy of the CC Board:

If that's still around in a few weeks, bring it to the UKLEM. A) It would be good for the shows I'm bringing and B) It could become checked baggage.

    Thats a very nice aperture!

    What are the output powers?
    Like 800mw 450nm / 600mw 532nm / 700mw 638nm?
And what scan's are in it? Scannermax506 compacts?

It's the 2.1W model, but last time it was tested (I don't have a meter capable of testing the full wattage), JEM on here did the test when it was new, and it made 2.7W from memory. One thing with Kvant, is you know they're under not over driven.

Official stated breakdown on the warning label is: 500m 532nm, 640mw 637nm (yep it has the best red diode) and 1w 445nm.

    I've added a short video.

I have to stress the video is very poor quality as I don't have access to a DSLR, so it's shot on a 30 compact camera!

Any blurryness, stuttering, jagged edges, curved black bars, or flashing are down to the camera or compression, not the laser.

I suggest you manually select 1080P as the resolution by clicking on the HD logo and ticking 1080P (or 1072P as it keeps appearing for some reason!).

suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.

No its' a Spectrum. It's a much higher quality model than the Clubmax's. The cost of building these is why they're now only offered in the 20W+ range. Much heavier casings, Thor Lab mounts, quality dichros, I could go on...

The fact this is essentially new, makes it a very rare beast. (PS my video appears to have disappeared, the link is there so maybe the host is down. Hopefully it should re-appear).
