Default Lightspace Venus OEM 1,800 w vs Laserworld pro 1600rgb

    Hi,
has anyone any experience with any of these two lasers? I canīt seem to find any mention of these particular models in the forum.
I am looking for something in the 1-2w range, cost $1000-$1500.
I would use it mainly for graphics in small-medium sized spaces, and mostly using white.
I will control the laser using etherdream 2 controller and custom software.

    The venus OEM 1,800w:
    pt30k scanners
    red diode-637nm:>340mW, green diode-520nm:>500mW, blue diode-445nm:>1,000mw.
divergence 1 mrad (not specified per individual laser)
    beam size 4mm
    http://www.lightspaceusa.com/venus-oem-1-800.html

    price 1150 usd

    The laserworld pro 1600rgb
40kpps @4° galvo scanners(couldnīt find a mention of the specific type of scanner they use).
    Red diode 637nm 300mW, Green DPSS 532nm 300mW, Blue diode 445nm 700mW
divergence 1.3mrad (not specified per individual laser)
    beam size 3mm
    https://www.laserworld.com/shop/lase...ld-pro-1600rgb

price at thomann.de ca 1050 usd

Also, would one of the goldenstar lasers be comparable to these two models?

And, being based in Europe, does it make a difference to order from Lightspace in the US or in China?

    Thank you for any advice.

the lightspace unit is a much better projector.

the giveaway is how laserworld describes their galvos (40k @4 degrees). that's really deceptive marketing as the industry standard is 8 degrees.

suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.

bummer: minimum order of the OEM unit according to Melody at Lighstpace: 20.

I assume this means that other brands is selling the same unit under their own name, but I havenīt been able to find one with exactly these specifications. Anyone who knows more about this?

Any other recommendations for a laser with similar specifications?
