Laser (the acronym derived from Light Amplification by Stimulated Emissions of Radiation) is a spectacular manifestation of this process. It is a source which emits a kind of light of unrivaled purity and intensity not found in any of the previously known sources of radiation. - Lasers & Non-Linear Optics, B.B. Laud.

Just for the record when you don't have a reading lamp on so you can read the labels it doesn't matter if the panel is black...

That would be hilarious and good for some street cred, but those look like DIN rail terminal blocks to me

Take a look at front panel designer for making panels. I use it to design and then burn a panel in wood. Looks good and cheaper than steel. I put sticky copper foil on the back as a ground plane. Works very well. Did a whole moog modular clone like that.

Labels? What are labels? No instructions necessary to make art.

I am using DIN rail and have all the power supplies mounted there. Also have some terminals for easy access to XY and RGB.

Also here is some more progress and a live show for your enjoyment.

I only just now realized that the projector will be housed inside the console! Cool!

Two projectors in the console for preview windows only. Standard DB25 out (2 for LSX side and 2 for Analog side) for the show projectors. That way the show projectors can be anywhere and the console can be back of house. It also allows me to keep the preview windows on while the DB25 out is not. This way I can make changes to the pattern without showing the spaghetti on the screen.
