    Default 575nm lasers.

    They are really here. Got one. 30mw. So bright you can see the dot at 300 feet in sunshine. The beam is tighter than the green dpss. Have not tried modulation yet. The drivers supplied are junk.

    the driver is in the top of the picture above - driving a 2 volt diode with 12 volts isn't a great idea in general, and certainly not with this driver...

    It looks green due to camera optics. It's running at current limited @ 1.5A 2V. The supplied driver is a toy.

    Looking forward to seeing these. However, I'm unfortunately just getting an 'Invalid attachment' message when I click on the links.

    Same here. Can't see the attachments.

    As far as the drivers go, are they a simple diode driver or do they have any TEC functions?

    The modules are just very compact un(thermally)-regulated DPSS.
    No active temperature compensation of the pump or x-tal.

    The images should be visible now... at least they display for me...

    The power goes down about 30% when you move the power sensor from right in front of the laser to about a foot away from the module even though the entire beam is still on the sensor. I assume that's due to an superimposed out of focus Infrared component.

    Yep, showing up for me. Thanks for posting pics!

    I was wondering how well the IR was filtered, if at all.

    Since the camera sensor is having trouble with the wavelength, to your eye, what would you compare the yellow to?

    highlighter yellow. lemon yellow. it's very yellow. the 565nm is more lime. Next to 532 it looks yellow and the 575 looks a touch orange. It's all dependent on the other things around it. In fact much more so than other wavelengths.

    They found an actual orange line in the yellow on LPF.
