    I've forgotten how the F2 lenses compare to the G2. Does the F2 have a larger focus size with less divergence and somewhat higher loss as compared with G2?

    F2 is one letter less than G2.

    Just the opposite. F2 is 2mm FL and G2 is 4mm FL. Greater divergence than G2 but half the aperture. Great for stacking multiple diodes or for getting a rounder spot after correction.
