    Default Old Educational He-Ne

Newest arrival from Ukraine is this 1980 LG-209 He-Ne. Only laser I've seen with a periscope on the front, inside the cover. Both mirrors in it seem to be highly reflecting, so I think it's one beam path or the other.

What's the 6.3V connection on the panel for?

6.3v is the normal heater voltage for valves - I don't know whether that is the case here.

    Default Dual output

Looks to be cold cathode to me. Dual beam output Some special application? Looks like it may work?

The 6.3v goes through the cathode. It worked before shipment but I haven't tried it yet. The large aluminum tube is at the anode end.

Yep. Sometimes, when I'm scrolling slowly down the list, my finger clickin' that button is like an electromagnet was switched on.

Oh believe me I know the feeling. You’ve got some pretty interesting things in your collection I’d love to have!

Congratulations with a very nice find! Who did you buy it from, if it is not a secret?
