I'm looking for the "LDS color test frame" referenced in the "DZE Laser color board adjustment procedure" manual.

Here is a screen capture of a page from that manual...


I checked with DZ but he can't find it.

Any help greatly appreciated

That is the basis of Andrew's personal test design . Should be with LSX in a modified form , too.
I'll check when I get home in an hour or so...

I asked DZ before I started this thread. He does not have it, or can't find it.

Yes, I checked the PL FTP site but didn't see it there.

I'm hoping to find this pattern (and any other test patterns for that matter) so I can wrap up the software for the handheld ILDA tester I've been working on. The hardware is complete. The software is also complete with the exception of the "LDS color test frame".

So far the tester includes the following test patterns:

All Colours Sharp Dots
Blanking Shift
Color Board Adjustment Blue Frame
Color Board Adjustment Frame
Color Board Adjustment Green Frame
Color Board Adjustment Red Frame
Dark Colours Test
Gray Scale Test
Grid Test
ILDA 12K
ILDA 30K
Lasermedia
Light Colours Test
Medium Colours Test
Quadrature

If anyone knows of other test frames, please let me know.

sounds like a nice tool. I'll dig my archive tonight. I have frames back to at least 1992. Anyway would not waste a reply on that. What I was thinking is is there a 60k ILDA pattern yet? This is getting more popular so it might be nice to have especially with the saturn scanners. Another I like is the orientation frame with top at the top of the frame. Also linearity frames with lines varying from 100% to 1% brightness in rgb and w. Small and large grids. There is one with circle in circles you make sure color shift is right. Has an x in the middle I think. I swear there was a test frame pack of 16 frames or so but they might be pangolin copyrighted. make sure you don't use a copyright frame. Might be easier to just allow the user to dump a frame via a usb stick or such. That a voids all that. Still nice product. Think Stanwax makes something almost identical.
