    Default my lasers

    Let me introduce my lasors
    PICS HEAVY
They are fully hand made piece by piece.
Cabintets made by 1.6mm FR4 material.Lightweight but strong.
Dustproof optical deck AR windows from EO(2 x2")
Each of them include the S4 boards .
Laser drivers are reverse engineered LSP Dual drivers(sorry Dave)
TEC cooled laser diodes with temperature regulation(circuit by me)

    2x 4W RGB
-dual PBS'd P73 with OPT lasers 6X cyl correction
    -NDG7475 with techhood cyl correction
    -M462 with techhood cyl correction
    -PT20k galvo system
    -200 x 150 x 150 mm without bracket
    Output R/G/B : 1.3W / 0.8W / 1.3W

    8W RGB
-quad P73 OPT Lasers 6X correction (a huge thanks for Jordi "Atenlaser" for his help! )
-dual NDG7475 with techhood cyl correction
-dual M462 with techhood cyl correction
-PT30k galvo system (with DT40 big mirrors from Rob)
    -300 x 200 x 1600 mm without bracket
    Output R/G/B: 2.6W / 1.8W / 3.2W

    Powers measured by LaserBEE

PBS,Rotators ,Dichros and bounce mirrors from Rob.
FL2 lenses for quad P73 from HB-Laser, G2 lenses from Techhood
Laser Diodes are from DTR + Techhood

Apart from a bit of cable tidying inside they look great.

How do you attach the fibreglass sheets to each other, bonding or do you have corner blocks?

Yeah,i have not skill in cable managment.
I'm using PCB so it is copper laminated and soldered to each other

Is there another set of optics before the scanners to down-collimate the beam diameter? Because the beams look really wide on the optical table (especially the red), but the output looks much smaller. Is it just some blooming in the camera maybe?

Nice looking units though! I've never heard of anyone using a copper plated PCB as a projector housing and then soldering them together. That's quite clever!

Oh,there is no achromats or telescopic optics before scanner.
Red is quite wide indeed a bit more than 5 x 5 mm but almost fits on the mirrors . Hence the loss is big as well. Have to get a scanner with bigger mirrors.
G/B are tight less than 4 x 4 mm and have nice divergence of ~0.6 mRad (with techood cyl lenses + G2)

The smaller lasers i have the beams are much tighter. Even the red. G/B in them have different techood CYL correction .
I found there is no point to have smaller beams, they are only hobby level lasers with acceptable divergence(very well divergence IMO).

nice work! I would have added a bit more green if I were you however to both projectors.

    Very tidy and compact!

I love the soldered enclosure. What wattage iron did you use?

    I have a few projectors with (1) M462 per (1) 1 watt 520 and I my opinion its about a perfect match.

    Thanks,
I've been used to working with a 100 W soldering gun when need much heat.
