Delaying RGB signals in Apple Logic

I've been recording my laser shows using Logic. Sometimes the laser output appears "dotty" and seems like a delay might be what is needed when playing back and cleaning up the show in logic. Does anyone have a recommendation for the best way to do this in logic? Would it be the "Sample Delay" stock plugin? or is there a better method? what is a good increment to play with, 1 millisecond? or should i just go down to the sample level

I don't know about Apple Logic, but LaserBoy makes waves and the default action is to delay the color channels 5 samples behind the scanner signals (at 48KHz sample rate). You can change that to whatever you want independently in all channels and that information is saved in the header of the wave, so when LB opens it again it can realign it for proper display on the screen.

It is so much easier to just get clean recording captured, cleanup afterwards is a nightmare. I have done it with tapes that were degradind before, but I must say there was now a filter preset or vst plugin that handled it it was all manual noise correction and other in Sequia https://www.magix.com/us/music/sequoia/
