Maybe different cameras or the lighting affects color balance.. dont really know. Did Casey Stack build that laser himself? -or with help -or is it some sort of oem? (I know I couldnt afford one -just curious)

Hi guys, yes Casey manufactured the laser, yes it has a big beam, but it is super bright. I use CTI 6250 scanners with 14mm mirrors tuned to 12K.
Oh, the photos are with diff cameras, obviously
It is truly an amazing laser and projector!
Please feel free to ask any questions.

Not much info on the 'big red' on that site. I guess he just built that 1 and uses for his shows...
You could use these GSI M3 scanners although they're not very fast with the big mirrors attached.
Do you think Casey would share an internal view of that monster with us?![]()
Well the best speed I got for these M3 scanners was around 4K PPS using
a modified LSDI TurboTrack 2 Amp. They were ok at small angles but I wouldn't recommend them for Light Show use. I don't know if they would be any faster with the GSI Mini sax drivers they were designed for. As far as I know, they can still be obtained and I have two more I'd be willing to sell.
Hey Chad -
... that is, without a doubt, the coolest use of a butter dish I have ever seen...
Do you know if Casey still has this unit? ...Might he consider X-renting it? (you see where this is going, don't you?http://www.photonlexicon.com/forums/...ead.php?t=4638
..lemme know, if ya can, ASAP...
thanx..
