    Sounds brill.
I'll get some really big Easter eggs for the weekend before, so that my better half (much the better half really) won't mind me disappearing for a couple of days.
I assume ity's OK to bring smoke machines as well as a couple of lasers?
Though from what you say I may not need much by way of fog....

OK, I’ll maybe bring all 4.
Can always leave them in the car if it gets too foggy

Most of us stay in the hall overnight, but if you're not into listening to people snoring /passing wind all night, you might be better staying in a hotel! As Jim (Smog the Mog) says, bring drones, jet engines, lasers, high voltage stuff, whatever takes your fancy. About the only rules are be nice, clear up after yourself and NO CHINESE LANTERNS!. We have a NOTAM in place so can fire lasers into the sky which always attracts a few people.

    Perfectly put Martin

Yes Mike, come along and enjoy my friend. It is your first time here so it is a free weekend for you Sir, all you will need is cash for food/drink etc - Oh! and maybe to buy something off of the bring and buy stand that usually collects a few bit's and bob's on it over the weekend.
    Hope to see you there.

    Cheers Jim

No worries, I'll pay anyway (cash on the door if that's OK)
I'm sure it'll be worth it, if only for the learning experience from you guys.
Although I'm not a total newbie and have enough gizmos, my experience is limited despite my age!

I need to sort out dates, but will probably have to be back for Monday so will try for Friday until Sunday.
But looking forward to meeting some fellow laser enthusiasts.

Will take a look at some of the local accommodation recommendations.
The hard sell of the all-night snoring and farting sounds alluring, but I'll maybe leave more room for you guys this time

One thing I meant to ask - what's internet connectivity like in and around the hall?
Not looking for a gigabit pipe, but is there at least a stable 3/4G or wi-fi?

Not the end of the world if not, just good to know.

    Sounds fine.
How long is the piece of string?
