Old Soviet Laser Pointer

Got another old laser pointer for the archive. This one's from our own Laserbuildermaster Andrey Urazov in Odessa, Ukraine. It's a 1989 Soviet model LGN-108 He-Ne system including the ground strap, extra fuses, a shoulder strap, and bolt that secures the head in its socket that screws into the nose of the pointer.

THAT's a laser pointer! And it's serial number 006. This is a certainly a nugget for the collection. I love the rocket design!

You see a rocket. A Eastern Block engineer or teacher probably sees a mechanical pencil in most cases.
Oh do they love their personal choice of pencil.
