Default ILD Render - rendering laser graphics from Blender & Inkscape

ILD Render is a new commercial tool for creating laser graphics (ILD files) from Blender & Inkscape.

It's integrated in Blender & Inkscape for a fast workflow:

    • in Blender just render your image/animation and instantly see the result in ILD Render
    • in Inkscape use the ILD Render plugin to send the graphics to ILD Render
    • it's not necessary to save/load files from Blender/Inkscape, instead the data is transferred in realtime to ILD Render

Rendering from Blender is based on the internal Freestyle rendering engine.

    Features:
    • layers from Blender / Inkscape are imported
    • every layer has it's own optimization settings
    • realtime preview on up to 9 laser projectors
    • every layer can be assigned to a different laser projector
    • when changing optimization parameters the result is instantly visible on the projectors
    • ability to save optimization presets
    • geometric correction for laser projectors (size, shift, warping...)
    • many supported DACs (IDN, Beyond with FB4/FB3, QM2000, EasyLase, Netlase, Riya...)

Is it for purchase or free? The website doesn't show a way to buy it.

Do you plan on supporting the Helios DAC? The interface is very similar to EasyLase/RIYA etc. so it should be quick to add.

It's available both as a C++ class, or as a DLL.

Bought it yesterday and excited to play around with it.
I'm always eager to see if a new tool is good for production

+1 for Helios support. It's now the defacto inexpensive DAC on scene.

I would also recommend LaserDock support as it is another player with lots of units out there

So there are some updates to ILD Render:

    - now support of the Helios DAC
    - supports Blender 2.83 and Grease Pencil vertex colors
    - Inkscape 1.0 support
    - some bugfixing

quick question that may be stupid, as i am not a blender expert. can you do 3d stuff? like 3d objects and export to a 3d-like ild file?
