    Thanks for the update, that is crazy news that it was double booked. Hopefully a better venue becomes available.

    That city will actual loose a lot of money between the food and hotels and gas....

    Yup. Conservative estimate is $30,000 per year just in hotels. (50 people times $100 per night times 6 nights)

    When you add up everything (food, rooms, venue rent, gas, booze, and incidentals) our annual economic impact is easily over 40 grand. Likely over 45 grand even. Not to mention the positive impact of the public laser shows...

    Sigh. No good deed goes unpunished I guess.
