Default [WTB] SMA905 Fiber Delivery Cable and parts (Collimators, focus bits, stuff)

I picked up a bunch of fiber attached diodes and drivers. Have things mostly working right, but its time to start cobbling together a delivery fiber.

Went shopping for 600 or 400um fiber cables with SMA905 connectors, and well... Let’s just say my missus would have some words for me . Thus I thought I might inquire if anyone has anything laying about, help a beginner get a start.

Fiber, lenses, collimators, mirrors, bits of kit by the box....

    Thanks in advance.

    Cheers

    Hi Anjin,

where are you located? -- I'm from Germany ...

Have a bunch of fiber-coupled and FSMA-plug armed IR-diodes with output powers from 5W to 200W and glass fibres with different diameters - here a thread showing some of the buildups/tests:

Neat stuff! I am in the Pacific Northwest area of the US. And what your doing, is my own goal

I have a few fiber coupled lasers that push some power, but got those for a song and had to spend a lot of time reverse engineering the systems so I could make them do anything at all.

Now I am looking for the delivery end of the equation. The systems I have use SMA905 connected 600~400um fiber capable of 808nm.

I must admit, getting a Galvo system is pretty attractive. So much to learn!

    Hi Anjin,

I could share some of the fibers -- but shipping over the pond could be a hassle
