Hi there,
I'm trying to source a very small galvo mirror. It measures only 10x7x0.8mm - any suggestions welcome, thanks.

Try Rob @ Stanwax.
He might have some spares for sale?

Thanks, do you have a link to the store, or even better to such an item?
@Dan - thanks I'll take a look cheers.
What are you building?
That's actually a fairly common mirror size for some of the cheaper Chinese scanner sets. I'm pretty sure the venerable Cambridge 6800 mirrors were a full 1 mm thick, if not slightly thicker even, but I remember Bill Benner measuring mirrors at one of the FLEMs years ago and commenting about how lots of Chinese vendors were using thinner mirrors (to reduce mass) even though they tended to flex and resonate more, causing tuning problems. I'm sure we had a couple sets that were .8 mm - thinking the scanpro 20's maybe?

Try giving Martin at Kvant UK a call.
I ordered two sets of their Compact 506 mirrors for around £60.
I'm sure they are around 1mm thick. Definitely thicker than the likes of DT mirrors.
