3D Printable Optical Hardware

Wanted to share this in case anyone is interested and has a 3d printer.

I actually used this for my laser. Still tweaking it howerver because it does not like smaller lens sizes.

You could always 3d print lens cells for the smaller lenses...

That had crossed my mind at one point however some of these require a good deal of space to use them in my laser chassis. Learning to use a CAD program like fusion 360 is adding a good bit of learning on top of laser optics.

Ive 3D printed mirror holders or raising plates in the past but plastic (especially thermo plastics) are not a great material in optical systems where temps can fluctuate.. however resin print should do the job!

I have some nice stratsys printers. Can print in most materials. If you have a model and pay the cost I’ll print and ship to you. Likely much less than shapeways or such. My limit is 0.1mm so not super tight tolerance.

I use a soldering iron to set them in place.
