Can the problem be q-switch or rf q-switch driver?

How can i check the Q-switch system? because all other seem to work(pump diodes)...
If Q-switch does not work what are the symptoms ? no beam at all ?
    I have 100mhz oscilloscope.

    Hello again
I try to engrave with trumpf vmc3 galvo laser entire 110mm x 110mm area
but engraves only half triangle area with enough power
the other half triangle the power is very much reduced..
What can be the reason for this ?

Bad alignment of beam before entering hurryscan 10 scanner ?
    Bad mirrors ?
    Something else?

make sure everything is level and make sure your lens and galvo mirrors are clean.

suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.

Lens are 100% clean because are sealed by protection window which also is clean.
mirrors are also clean they are sealed inside galvo head.
The laser source is dpss q-switched nd:yag 1064nm and beam goes to galvo head
after some mirrors and a red pilot laser combiner.
The diode pumps are 2 coherent fap800-25w (multimode fiber coupled 25w@806nm)

Can be bad alignment before entrance to galvo head?
How can i check this? With indication cards? Thermal paper?

... yes, if the entry isn't optimal, the output or focus plane would be "skewed", like in your description.

Thorlabs sells indicator cards - https://www.thorlabs.com/newgrouppag...ctgroup_ID=296

But you can try with tiles and slightly higher power, so it would either glow or maybe even convert to visible light, as with the cards ...

Ok i will check with a ceramic tile.

This laser has 2 x coherent fap-81-25c-800-B pump diodes (max 25w each one)
after all looses in the fibers in the mirrors in the rod scan head etc what can be the max output power ?

Can i use more power pump diodes for example 30w same type ?
More recent laser diodes output more watt/ampere so current can be the same with slight increased output.
The wavelength of both pumps must be matched 804.5 to 807.5 as original or a slight deviation (+-5nm) for example 810nm is not problem because of nd:yag rod ?
Can this be problem for q-switch inside cavity ?

... no, you most likely can't replace the diodes with "nearly the same" types, as it's a tightly balanced system for pumping a pretty sensitive laser crystal.

The resulted laser output with the combination of pumping and Q-switching are single pulses with pretty high energy density of some 100Watts to some Kilowatts - if you emit a series of pulses, then they will average to the stated laser power -- could be something in the range of 10 to 15 Watts (i have a small diode-pumped NdYAG with only one of this diodes, stated as something between 4W to 7W averaged power and enough tto engrave copper).

(By the way - I have three of this 25W-diodes in "big" suitcases with data-sheet and measured powers )

I have removed scan head and beam at ouput is more left not in center.
polyimide tape is near transparent to 1064nm so put polymide tape(kapton) at the outside to prevent contamination
and burn a piece of carton .
But to make correct z fold mirror2 alignment like this video
must make a long tube extension to take measurent about 0.5m far from beam output
Centering only the beam at output does not solve the problem as i understand needs also to be parallel.
    https://youtube.com/watch?v=A1LIcQTktGU

Anyway 15w optical power is low compared to today markers that are to 30w-100w range

What material burned-marked by 1064nm unfocused beam that does not makes fumes to use to alignment?

For co2 laser i use thermal paper but for 1064nm does not work

Something else.. how to enable pilot laser in software it asks me for serial in options.
