    It sold for$85,000.00 in 1965 . I figure theres probably a pound of gold in it!!! In working condition I bought at an auction for an ungodly amount of dough! I have not plugged it in or tried anything with it I have simply stored it in perfect conditions only.

    That does not look like a CO2 laser from 1965 to me. The first one of that type was introduced in 1966 by Perkin-Elmer, seen below. Yours may be a ruby laser. Disassemble it carefully and see if there is a ruby rod and lamp inside.

    I am not sure if I want the depreciate the value of it by putting a wrench to it Sir!
