    Hey Hank,

Would there be a way for you to add timecode synchronization with an ILDA file or dmx triggering?

The product looks really good but I wonder how much of a change that requires on your end?

Thanks for the feedback. In fact just this summer I added Art-Net support over Wifi to control most settings on ILDAC-WAV, including: starting and stopping up to 25 different tracks or folders of tracks; volume; XY gain, offset and invert; brightness; and (coming soon) RGB color balance. Multiple ILDAC-WAVs can operate in different, user-selectable, universes, or the same universe with different channel ranges for each ILDAC-WAV.

Right now the ArtNet only works with starting/stopping WAV files, but I should be able to modify it to work with ILDA files also. The issue with ILDA files is there is no embedded frame rate and they run faster or slower based on the scan rate selected. I do have a setting to slow down animated ILDA files, but it's more of a coarse adjustment than a fine-tuning one. If you need ILDA files to run at a fixed rate to sync with other sources, they can be easily converted to WAV files.

I'm also working on adding Ethernet connectivity to ILDAC, but that could be a few months away to find enough time to get that going.

Wow this is amazing. I have been looking for a self contained DAC that can play back ILDA files, and I was reading through the thread hoping for Artnet support and I see in the last post here that it is indeed working/in the works.

My needs are I want to load a set of different ilda laser beam show files onto an SD card, and then be able to select them via dmx/artnet. With the ability to also override color via 3 DMX channels, that would be amazing. I currently use SoundSwitch (https://www.soundswitch.com) to control my DMX fixtures, and I want to be able to select specific ILDA files for different autoloop banks (premade shows) at specific cues.

I am using two Emma RGB270 lasers (http://www.emma-laser.com/36w-4w-5w-...-p4141541.html) which I thought I would be able to use the built in SD card and onboard controller, but alas it only supports TTL which is super annoying as I paid for more the SD card specifically. So this project would be amazing to let me get full color support.

I also like the sound of the ethernet support as I've had issues with wifi in the past.

Amazing work great job, where can one purchase these?

    Thanks

Thanks for your note! You can order on the website here: https://ildac.com

I have four older model units (fully functional) that I can sell to you for $200 each, or if you want the latest versions, they are $250 each (plus shipping if you are not in the US).

The ArtNet features are working but not fully tested in a production environment, so as long as you're patient in working with me to work out any small bugs. And as I mentioned, playing ILDA files would need some way to pre set the scan rate. If you need ILDA files to play at a certain frame rate (points per second), they would need to be converted to WAV files at that rate.

You can send me a PM on the forum or email hanklloydright@gmail.com if you have specific questions.
