    Question ScannerMax 506 cables

I have this set of ScannerMax 506 with amps, but the cables are missing.

Anyone know what kind of connectors and pinout to connect to the amps?

I am going to go out on a limb and say that the amp at least is not a ScannerMax Compact 506 amp. I believe it to be from China. I would probably go out on a even skinnier branch and say the galvo is not a Compact 506 either.

See here for what they look like: https://scannermax.com/products/compact-506-galvo

That aside I would probably say these probably are what you are looking for:

I found that picture on AliExpress. The listing was not available though. It will be good to find someone on EBay or AliExpress and contacting the seller to see if they have the cables for sale.

Someone on here might also have a set.

Also you "could" find the connectors and make your own cables. From the picture they look to be straight through (pin to pin).

No, the set you have posted is not the same.

This is the early version 506 (before the dsp driver board)
Same as in this thread: https://www.photonlexicon.com/forums...scannermax+506
    And this thread: https://www.photonlexicon.com/forums...scannermax+506

If anyone know what connector that is and if pin order is straight I can make my own cables yes. I was thinking molex pico spox but they are a bit more offset.

In that case there is a document around somewhere about adapting the chinese amps to the early 506's. That might help with the pinout. I cannot find the copy I had. I am sure someone around here has it. I will post it if I can find it.

The attached document is for the older C506 prior to connector changes.

It does not include the onboard capacitor and resistor changes, but it will work without them.

You'll just have much more position sensor gain then normal.

    not responsible for errors.

Change the two diodes to Schottky diodes for lower forward drop.

    jumper out the notch filter.

Thank you so much for the information..

The amps have been used with the galvos at some time. And I can see that the diodes has been changed in addition to some other components.
I found the connectors at digi-key and now i have the pinout information also.

    Proper crimping tool:

Nothing else seems to do the task, besides this one, unless you buy the Official tool.
