Default What to do with a INNOVA Sabre

Not being able to see lasers taken to the scrap yard, I have acquired a coherent sabre with power supply and heat exchanger. Its gas intact but missing the rear mirror. I don't have enought power to fire it up any longer.

Question is, what should I do with it?

What's the gas fill on it? Assuming Ar? Just curious.

Its argon. I have two I100 kryptons tubes and one set of Kr mirrors that need a home. The Kr tubes are pretty old, 1990 iirc. The Argon is 2008.

while gas lasers are gone from the entertainment area (especially europe now due to power costs) it's still here and there used in the lab.
My only off the bat thought would be that the laser can be used as a calibration reference for spectrometers due to consistent wavelengths it outputs... otherwise it's higher power usage: No idea at the moment.

For salvage I think they have strong magnets around the tube that are worth a fair bit.. but if it's gas intact it would be a waste to do that to it...
