I do have the manual for the Coherent Highlight 1000FL. I was not able to find it online anywhere, but we do have the original paper copy and scanned the whole thing.
If anyone needs a copy, let me know.

Bonjour,
Oui je serais intéressé d'avoir une copie PDF du manuel FL-1000.
Merci d'avance !

I loaned my copy to someone and it never came back.
Its the Coherent Purelight Star. Not the star 2 or the star 2 c.

Will there be three phase!!!!
There was an Argon Highlight and a Krypton Highlight before they reused the name for the fiber laser.
These were characterized by using a special low resistance resistor in series with the tube instead of a transistor pass-bank and pre-regulator. Your power output was proportional to line voltage using this scheme. The laser had one current setting that was line voltage dependent. It did not have light regulation, only current regulation. A combination of resistance and inductance was in series with the tube to form a passive current regulator. The coil that formed the series resistance was wound around the solenoidal magnet core. This was a development from Medical Innova Krypton lasers that had a magnet in series with the tube and current regulator.
If all you want is two line krypton red, having the magnetic field in series with the tube making field as the current goes up, is quite an advantage.
The goal of the Highlight Ion systems was to drop costs for certain laser show and lab customers that did not need tight regulation of the laser power.
One of the things you loose with this scheme is tube lifetime and power factor correction.

Qui habet Christos, habet Vitam!
I should have rented the space under my name for advertising.
When I still could have...
The Highlight 1000FL is the 1KW fiber laser. (I just edited the title for clarity)
What's the best way to share large files?

I am arriving a bit late … I am looking for the manual for the Highlight 1000FL not sure if it was posted somewhere and if it is possible to share with me too? If it is a big file maybe it can be uploaded somewhere rather than post here or email.
Thank you for your help!!
Hello David 65532, to date I have not received a user manual for the FL1000 laser fibbre. I'll let you know if I get a copy.
