    Default Halloween 2023, anyone?

It's October and therefor obligatory for me to ask, does anyone have any Halloween plans?

Once again, I am setting up my traditional cemetery with lighting and fog effects. Fogscreen in the tunnel leading up to the porch. This year, I have build a new "fire pit" for my cauldron. That, along with some new tombstones. I have edited my DMX sequence to match the sound of the lightning better. I am also using some new DMX LED pars that are a little brighter for white since they are RGBW. Other than that, this year should be about the same. Next year, I plan to add a faux iron gate to attach to my pillars. Above it, it will have an archway with the name of the cemetery. My wife and I have chosen "Ravenfell Cemetery". That will be my big project for next year. I am interested to see what some of you guys might be working on for your setups.

Here are a couple of videos from last year's setup. I had to overdub the audio because my family is so damn loud when I'm trying to take video!

    The yard:

The porch tunnel and fogscreen. Keep in mind, this was at the end of the night, that's why my scarers are just sitting there on their phones. The trick-or-treaters had dwindled:

Thanks for starting this thread, I've also been meaning to post.

I'm doing 99% the same as last year, but I need to find a replacement for the "Aunie Vaxx" tombstone, since that's a little dated now.

My wife is a young adult writer and there's tons of controversy right now over book banning, so we might use:

    RIP
    Dee Versity
    Died from too many
    banned books

    Or

    RIP
    Ina T. Olernace
    She banned too
    many books

    Any other good ideas?

Unfortunately, not too many good ideas. I am generally not that clever. Auntie Vaxx was a fluke! As for tombstones, I think I have about as many as I will need for a little while, at least. Because of that, I haven't thought of any new tombstone names. This next year, I am going to try to get my cemetery gates (cue Pantera) done and I would like to start breaking into robotics to make my own animatronics. I found a great kit only that will let me control servos over DMX. Don't get me wrong, I love the animatronics from Spirit and Home Depot but they are pre-programmed and don't always fit my theme. Plus, some of the stuff they say is kinda cheesy. Not to mention the build quality is questionable, at best! One thing at a time, though.
