Yes.. there was some confusion over the schedule this year, but it's been resolved. I'll be putting together a schedule tomorrow and posting here and FB. If you're interested in a slot, just let me know.


And now for something completely different-- do we have any Pickleball players coming to SELEM? I'll bring my gear, it would be great if we had a few more people for some morning games before things get started at the venue. If we have players, I'll look into finding a court somewhere.

I know nothing about Pickleball except it's a cross between Ping Pong, Badminton and Tennis. Willing to give it a try. No promises on how much I will play beyond trying it though.

Ok, I have one extra paddle, but it's really a doubles kind of game. Playing with two people works, but it's harder and not as fun. If nobody else wants to play, I'll look for a local court to dink around in.

Quick reminder for anyone driving up from the south on I-95. You DO want to get off at the Maryland 109 exit for Elkton/Newark and take the back roads. Do NOT go through the tolls on the state line. With the major construction at the 896 interchange, I believe the exit from 95 onto 896 for the hall is closed and you're detoured quite a ways to get to 896 south.

In that same warning they are aggressively speed checking on I-95 both north and south bound about a half mile before the 896 interchange using photo radar and just mailing you tickets. It slows from 65 to 55 mph in the work zone. It's been a mailed warning for a few weeks but, they started actively sending fines starting last Tuesday. It's been on the tv news and everything. An average of 125,000 cars per day have been speeding through that area.
