Heya everyone,
I had an idea that I threw at Buffo the other day. He said post it here.
I edited my first Beyond timeline shows a few weeks ago for an event. Nothing crazy. I mostly used the tip videos on youtube when I had questions, but still would love to swap tips with others.
Which led me to the idea, what if we had a Beyond timeline show tip swap thing, followed by a timeline show contest? Maybe everyone gets half a day, or 2 hours, or whatever some set amount of time to create a new beam show. We pre-define the projector setup or share workspace or whatever keeps it most efficient to be able to load the files afterwards. Then we run all the shows back to back? After this, we tag them with the SELEM year and push them to the Pango cloud? I am sure it has been done before in the past.
It's always been my guess that all my laser friends are also huge music fan friends, the two go hand in hand. So it could also be a chance to share some music as well.
Just a way to use the time to generate some content, force-learn more about tools some of us use, and leave a little SELEM mark on the history of lasering.
