    Default Component value help

This looks like a carbon resistor. Using both 2 wire and 4 wire resistance measurements I get 35.5 ohms. The color code looks to be red purple black gold yellow or the reverse. Which does not match the measured numbers. Any ideas or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

    27 ohm, 5%, 25ppm/K
Carbon resistors aren't stable. They don't stay at their rated resistance.

Thank you. That's very interesting about carbon resistor stability. I never would have thought that.
