can some one xplain why huge price difference landlaser 20$ laser up to 300mv while 180$ sanwu simple pointer

Technical spesifications aside, the cheap one is built into a stock housing. The expensive one is machined and engraved copper built into a more impressive form factor. It's a collectors item and also comes with a warranty.

Laser modules has become quite cheap in recent years. What mainly puts the expensive ones apart from the cheap ones, from what I've gathered, are the housings. In adition, lasers built with american parts (or quality parts sourced and sold by american companies), tend to be at a higher price range than lasers manufactured in China.

In my experience, building something pretty and truly unique takes a lot of creative effort and hard work.

I'm no expert though. I've recently picked this hobby up again, and have mainly sourced parts and materials from China. So anyone, please feel free to correct me or add any relevant information I might have missed in my take on the price difference.
