Default User Manual request for Cambridge 673 Dual Amps

    Hey,
    Long time no speak all!

Does anyone have a copy of the user manual for the CT 673 Dual MicroMax amps they could share by any chance?
I reached out to Novanta/CT but didn't get anywhere with them.

It's mainly to check pinouts + mating connector PN's, and to see what some of the jumpers are for.

Image attached of the driver in question.

Many thanks in advance to anyone who could help.

    All the best,
    Dan

Hypothetically speaking, would these amps be used to drive a set of galvos equipped with absolutely massive mirrors that would be appropriate for a certain CVL that we saw at UKLEM recently?

    Heh.
    I like your thinking Adam!
Unfortunately it’s for another project; 3mm aperture on this one though
I do have a plan to get some 30mm CA wagglers for next LEM though.

All nearly of them use the same demodulator circuit for the photodiode currents

Drive cable and Feedback cable have separate grounds and shield braid,

From the attached you should be able to figure out the pinouts by reverse engineering the board.

"AGC" is drive to the position sensor led.

Galvo LOW returns via the obvious current sensing resistor.

The two sets of jumpers circled in the attached pics will go direct to the differential inputs, as they are used to reverse input polarity.

I sent a request to a friend in Cali, if anyone has the manual he does.

    We shall see.

    Mr. Briggs,

I have your requested files attached

There are some others, that I'm not comfortable posting. PM me with a current email.

I would not power it up without a review of the other docs.

    This thing is a beast.

    Hey Steve,
Wow! Thanks for the info so far; you are a gentleman and a scholar!
    PM sent.

And after a quick scan of the manual, I'm glad I didn't power it up yet!
Thanks for the comprehensive info. Very much appreciated!

    All the best,
    Dan
