Has anyone tested the SenseFuture TEC temperature controller (~1 mK stability)?
Hi everyone,
I was recently looking into TEC temperature controllers for laser and optics experiments and came across a controller from SenseFuture.
According to their specs they claim something like:
1. Temperature measurement standard deviation around 0.2 mK, with <1 mK long-term drift over 24 hours.
2. Temperature control stability roughly ±0.001 to ±0.01 °C depending on the setup.
The surprising part is that the price is only around $326.
That honestly sounds a bit too good to be true compared with some of the temperature controllers typically used in photonics setups.
Has anyone here actually tested one of these or similar low-cost controllers in real optical or laser experiments?
Curious whether ~1 mK stability is realistic in practice with a TEC system at this price point.
