dyn AXIS S scanner pinout/docs

Hi everyone,

I'm an applied physics student from Delft and I bought two SCANLAB dynAXIS S scanners with original DA15F connectors on eBay for a lithography like tool I am testing for.

I have the general dynAXIS datasheet (link below), but it doesn't show the connector pin assignments or the position-detector supply voltage and polarity. Does anyone have the wiring/interface manual, or experience driving these bare scanners? How do people normally obtain this information for secondhand units? I see quite some of them available online.

I considered identifying the connections through resistance measurements, but I'm concerned that this might not be reliable and result in me damaging the position detector.

You might want to try to find a matching scanlab driver... Designing and prototyping a driver from scratch for a one off project is a time trap.

Have you tried just asking ScanLab? They have discontinued their analog sensor based products and are very likely to just give a graduate student the data. I's good for business.

The US office has been friendly to me on a work project.

Thank you for your messages! I am looking into buying an existing driver and emailed Scanlab in the meantime.
Part of the project is that I am trying to practice PCB design, so I would like to see if I can build the driver myself, but we will see

Usually these days an LM3886 is the output stage, I have no idea how the Scanlab photodiodes and led is set up, AGC is the LED circuit, you wont be able to implement the Coil Temp Calculator as the RC4200 is obsolete, The capacitor and resistor values may need to change, but here is a classic ANLOG scan AMP:

Here is a typical modern manual, and then I'll find you a schematic with notch filters in the feedback loop, may take a day to post it.
