Hey guys. Just letting ya know I'll be around trying to learn a crap of scanner stuff before I dive into the scanning world. Gottaluvlasers recommended the DT-40 scanners for my first system, so I'd be especially interested in hearing your comments on the system.

I've been fiddling around for some time now with my home built scanning system, and now I'm thinking of upgrading my system and buy some of the real stuff. I've also read here and in other forums that the DT40's are a great choice, so I may go for it

The DT40s are excellent value & excellent performance.
Jian is also a really decent chap to deal with.
I would heartily recommend them to anyone.
