    Red face

    Got them, thanks Bridge

Yep, I did finally pick the cubes up from the neighbour in the week. Not had a chance to test any of mine yet, just unwrapped one red one and they look ok.

Apologies for the delay getting them out to you all...
It's due to me being *very* tied up for the last few days meeting a deadline, but I promise they will be in the post first thing Monday morning.

    because they can.

Bridge...could you tell me about the polorisation dependancy of the 473 cubes? Not sure if my lasers are 100:1...probably less. The reason being is that I may have to rotate one or use a wave plate. Please share the specifications for the optical properties of them.
    Thanks,Mike

    I had PM to you.
in one word the bigger polarition rate the laser had, the most effect the PBS did.
    Best regards!

I have the correct setting of the cube now. I have less than 2mw each waste beam. I think these will work fine. I have not measured full power loss as I have not finished the mount machining. I will try and get this functional by the weekend. Looks good .... I think this will work out. The plorization values of the lasers are less than 100:1. May be like 80:1. It will work for me....at least I am going to try it.

    Exclamation Maximum blue !!!

Sorry ... no pix right now. I have had the 2 Lasever 473nm units with the PBS cube and one mirror on a temp. mount. Preliminary results.........200 and 185mw input........= 351mw total output through all this. About 9% total losses due to optics and less than 2mw in both waste beams. I think I have it documented well enough to finally mount these guys. These specs may improve with proper tweaking and better alignment on the beam table. It was awesome to see that power of blue and no big thirsty gas tube in the room. Thanks Bridge for a job well done for my standpoint. Now I can see me having a little more than 1 watt RGB.
