    I have one. It'll put out about 100uW of 532nm and about 1W of 808/1064. Not very useful. Save your money for something better!

    How comes it's classified as a 3b laser. Should'nt that be class 4?

    Not if the emission from the complete, intact unit is less than 500 mW. A DVD burner is only class 1, till you open it and run the diode without the case sealing the light in.
