    That is fantastic.
Will they work with the MediaLas (MambaBlack) usb DAC?
I could do with something like that (I'm a DJ and use my lasers with that).
What are the Pango winamp visualisations like, are they the similar or are they actually the winamp visualisations?

    Man, that is great!
I was hoping to experiment with something like that, but once again, you have excelled to the top of the class! I will send you an email on this one for sure!

If we weren't busy working on our next-generation software, I would put some time into the SDK for the FB3. But developing the SDK takes time, because it involves not only the code, but also documentation and example programs. All of this takes time.... Basically, the way I feel is that everybody can use our new advanced software, but not everybody can use an SDK, so we have to prioritize tasks. I hope you all understand...

But actually let me look into how difficult it would be to port our Winamp plugin over the work with the FB3... Our Winamp plugin would certainly do the visual seen in the YouTube video (plus a whole lot more of course)... If it only takes a day or two, then it will be worth it. I usually don't mind a distraction that only lasts a day...

    Best regards,

    William Benner

Because most other companies are run by greedy, type-A dickheads, that's why.

Seriously, name *one* company president (apart from the company you or your spose works for) that you've ever met with outside of normal business hours just because you were a customer... I'm not talking about an after-hours sales meeting, but just a social event. Yeah, that's pretty much my experience too. You *never* meet these people, unless you're one of their biggest customers that is...

Now, have you ever heard about a company president that was willing to spend his precious leisure time *helping* you to use their product better? No? Me neither - at least untill I met Bill Benner that is.

Bill is willing to spend a weekend just geeking out with a bunch of hobbyists, and will even tune your galvos for free (even if you're not running Pangolin hardware and software). He's helped people troubleshoot projectors and software issues, and offered advice on a wide range of laser show topics. A lot of the people that have benefitted from his efforts are not even Pangolin customers. (Or at least, not yet! )

So yeah, Bill is the exception, not the rule. And it's too bad, really. If every company was like Pangolin, things would be damn cool indeed...
