There are other options for dinner I'm currently looking at-
9/11 screwed up the space experience- alot of the areas are now off limits to the tour-
to include the hanger and shuttle assembly building-
they did however built a new liftoff simulator which is supposed to be quite good-
newly opened- about six months ago-

Very cool... (And yeah, I touched the moon rock they had in there. Everyone does.)
I'm conviced that about 40 years ago, someone just dropped a bunch of spaghetti on a map and bingo, there's Orlando's infrastructure. Also, coming out of that airport and going up SR-436 a few miles, you'll run into Florida's 3rd most dangerous intersection (436 and 50). If you go west out of the airport, you'll run into about the 7th most dangerous intersection, Sand Lake Rd and John Young Parkway. Oh, and Orlando drivers are not the friendlies folks around, I spent 8 years fighting through the streets O'town and it wouldn't bother me none if I never went back. Anyway, good luck and drive safely! By the way, how long will you be here? STS-123 launches on March 11th.
.. just takes me (and the locals) a day or two to acclimate.

I4 is where I learned how to drive.
